DU Admission (Bangladesh) refers to the University of Dhaka's undergraduate admission test — the most competitive university entrance exam in Bangladesh. Dhaka University admits undergraduates through its own admission test, which is taken after the H.S.C. (Class 12) exam. The test is divided into four units: Unit A (Science background), Unit B (Commerce background), Unit C (Humanities background), and Unit D (Institute of Fine Arts). Each unit has separate eligibility based on H.S.C. subject combination. The DU admission test is highly competitive — only around 5–7% of applicants secure admission. For the most popular departments like Economics, Sociology, and Psychology at DU, a rank within the top 500 is typically required.

The DU admission test consists of written examinations for most units. Unit A (Science): 100 marks written test covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (based on H.S.C. background), plus a separate English test. Unit B (Commerce): written test on Accounting, Business Organisation, Economics and English. Unit C (Humanities): written test on multiple subjects from Humanities group. Unit D (Fine Arts): practical exam and viva. Each unit test is typically 100 marks. The questions are a mix of multiple-choice (MCQ) and written/descriptive answers. DU also has a merit-based quota system: 60% on admission test, 10% on H.S.C. GPA, 5% on extracurricular activities, and 5% on diversity (district quota).

For admission to top departments like Economics (Unit C) at Dhaka University, a merit position within the top 300 is needed. For popular science departments (Unit A), ranks within top 200 are typically required for Computer Science and Engineering. After the written test, selected candidates go through a viva voce. The final selection is based on combined performance in written test and viva. Approximately 4,500 seats are available across all departments at Dhaka University each year.
