Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 May 2026

StudyRoadmap™ is built with privacy as a core principle. We collect as little data as possible.

What We Collect

We currently run no first-party analytics. We do not deploy Google Analytics, Plausible, or any other analytics script on this site at this time. Our self-hosted nginx server logs standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, referrer) in its access logs for security and operations; we do not retain or correlate that data for tracking.

We do not use tracking pixels or personal data collection of our own. We don't know who you are, what exam you're preparing for, or how long you're studying. If we enable a privacy-friendly analytics service in the future, this page will be updated before it goes live.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to save your exam selection and duration preferences. This data stays entirely on your device and is never sent to any server. StudyRoadmap™ itself sets no first-party tracking cookies. However, third-party advertising partners (see the Advertising section below) may set their own cookies when ads are displayed. You can clear local storage and cookies at any time from your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised ad cookies using the links in the Advertising section.

Your Data Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete — it was never here to begin with. If you have concerns about the request metadata recorded in our server access logs, please contact us at the addresses below.

Third-Party Services

We self-host the site on an nginx server and use Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) for typography. Google receives a request log (IP, user-agent) each time a font asset loads, governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Our server records basic request data (IP, user-agent) in standard access logs as part of normal operations and security monitoring. If we display ads via Google AdSense, EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors will see a Google-provided consent prompt for personalised advertising in line with UK/EU GDPR. You retain the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of any personal data held by these providers — contact us at the email below and we will route the request.

Advertising

We may display advertisements through third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.

We do not control or have access to any information collected by third-party advertisers. Please review their respective privacy policies for more information.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through our site, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
