180 compulsory questions — Physics (45), Chemistry (45), Biology (90: Botany 45 + Zoology 45), 3 hours, 720 marks total. 4 marks per correct answer, 1 mark deducted for wrong answer. The optional Section B buffer used during 2021–2024 was discontinued from 2025.
