JEE Main 2026 exam pattern
75 questions (25 per subject — Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), 3 hours, 300 marks. Each subject has Section A (20 MCQs) and Section B (5 numerical-value questions), all compulsory. Correct answer +4; 1 mark deducted for a wrong answer in both sections — since 2025 the Section B numericals are compulsory and carry the same -1 negative marking.
