What is the AIIMS MBBS exam pattern?
AIIMS MBBS consists of 200 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 3 hours and 30 minutes. The distribution is: Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (60 questions), Biology (60 questions, covering Botany and Zoology), and General Knowledge/Aptitude (20 questions). Each correct answer carries 1 mark; 0.33 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. There is no positive marking for the GK/Aptitude section in some years. The AIIMS merit list is prepared based on the normalized percentile score.
